Cumulative Meta-Analysis

A cumulative meta-analysis is a sequence of meta-analyses on performed on subsets of the studies, starting with a single study and adding the other studies one at a time. A cumulative meta-analysis shows how the overall estimate changes as each study is added to the pool.

To see an example of cumulative meta-analysis, do the following steps.

  1. Select Open on the File menu.
  2. In the Open File dialog, double-click the sample_data directory and open the file amino.oma.
  3. Select cumulative meta-analysis from the Analysis menu.
  4. In the Method and Parameters dialog, select the meta-analysis method and parameters.
  5. Click OK.
